Liebre was born in Toronto, built on years of deep immersion in the ingredients, traditions, and regional cuisine of Mexico — from Mexico City to Oaxaca and beyond. Its founders, Chefs Kate and Julio, trained at Le Cordon Bleu and earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for their work — along with recognition from the Gobierno de Mexico for their role in preserving Mexican culinary identity and culture.
In 2025, Fury acquired Liebre and set out to do what Kate and Julio started — bring these flavours home, for everyone.
